Description: Hot Binder Tanker consisting of a heating tank and assembly for haulage and storage of hot bituminous liquids. The complete tanker is mounted on triaxle trailer running gear with one lifting axle and suitable for towing by a standard tractor unit.

Tank: Tank fabricated from mild steel to maximum section incorporating anti-surge baffles and 200mm dia. heating flue. Tank insulated with wirebacked dense rockwool matting and clad with Aluminium sheeting.

Tank Capacity: 27,000 litres.

Heating: Binder is heated by internal flue using either LPG or Diesel Burner.

Pumping: The Tanker is fitted out to facilitate the pumping on and off of the hot bitumen product by a separate pumping system [A pumping system can be fitted on the Tanker if required by the customer].

Fittings: Pipework includes pump on/off lines and associated valves. A tank top manway is fitted., The unit is fitted out with side runners, pipe trays, truck markings, mudguards, splashers, warning flashing beacons and all necessary lighting.

Testing: All systems are fully calibrated and tested to specification.

General: The Binder tank size can be varied to suit customer requirements. An overnight heating system can be fitted.
