Description: The Bond Coat Sprayer – Edge Sealer consists of a binder sprayer complete and also a bitumen melter and edge / joint sprayer. The binder sprayer applies the bond coat to the surface of bituminous layers. The edge sprayer liquidises the solid bitumen and applies to the edges and joints in the asphalt pavement construction.

Bond Coat Sprayer: The tank is fabricated from mild steel with internal heating flue, insulated with dense rockwool matting and clad in aluminium sheeting.

Tank Capacity: 2,000 litres – 8,000 litres.

Heating: Heating is by Oil Fired Burner.

Pumping: Pumping is by a positive displacement Bitumen pump.

Spraying: Spraying is by Constant Pressure spraybar, 2.5 metre – 5.0 metre width through pneumatically actuated spray jets.

Edge Sprayer: A melting tank is immersed in a hot oil heating system with an intank heating grid and product agitator. The tank is insulated and clad. Joint – Edge spraying is by triple spray jet assembly with adjustable spray positionThe Bond Coat spraying and Edge Coat application are controlled from within the drivers cab.
