Pothole Repair Patcher - Demountable

Description: This Hot Bitumen Patcher consists of a Binder Tank and chippings body incorporated on a Demountable Sub- Frame. The Patcher fits into the body of a standard truck (17t GVW) and can be demounted onto its own landing legs for storage. It utilises the truck hydraulic system to drive the Binder pump.

Binder Capacity:1,600 litres.

Chip Capacity:7,000 kg.

Tank: Mild steel shell insulated with wire-backed rockwool insulation and clad in aluminium cladding. Manway fitted to tank top.

Heating: Gas fired through an internal flue. Diesel Oil heating available.

Drive: Hydraulic motor drive to the Binder Pump. (Auxiliary engine drive available)

Pumping: Positive displacement gear pump complete with integral relief valve.

Spraying: Binder sprayed through manual spray lance with 6m long hose.

Body: Chip body with sloping floor and swinging rear door. Front roller fitted to facilitate easy truck mounting. Body divided to take varying sizes of chippings. Two chutes fitted with clamshell closing action allowing chippings supply into rear chip tray located at a convenient height for workmen. Hydraulically operated compactor platform fitted at rear.

Demounting: Landing legs fitted to the front and back of the unit for demounted storage. Front legs fold under body when loaded.

General: Orange flashing warning light fitted. Men at work sign fitted. Reflective warning signs fitted.
