Description:Hot Bitumen Sprayer consisting of a heating tank and assembly complete with all associated pumping and control equipment to facilitate the Surface Dressing of Roads. The complete unit is mounted on a single axle truck chassis -(7.5 – 10.0t GVW)
Tank: Tank fabricated from mild steel incorporating anti-surge baffles and 200mm dia. Internal heating flue. Tank insulated with wirebacked dense rockwool matting and clad with Aluminium sheeting.
Tank Capacity: 3,000 – 5,000 litres.
Heating: Binder is heated by internal flue using either LPG or Diesel Burner.
Pumping: A positive displacement Bitumen pump with integral relief valve with output of 400 litres per minute is fitted. Pump driven by hydraulic motor drive from truck engine powered power pack.
Spraying: A Target/Rincheval constant pressure Spraybar is fitted consisting of 17 No. slot jets at 150mm centres giving a spray width of 2,500mm. . The spraybar can move 250mm from side to side and has hydraulic raising/lowering. The spray jets pneumatically open/close as the sprayed width varies and there is individual jet control. A constant pressure spraying system is fitted to the Binder Pump. The hydraulic drive system is powered from the truck drive system. Spraying pressure is displayed on the operator panel. Air supply is from an auxiliary tank fitted on the truck air system.
General: The spraying operation is controlled by the driver from an incab control panel .The spraybar can be fitted with spray jets at 100mm centres and extending to 5,000mm width. An incab Spraybar Output Monitoring Unit can be fitted which displays and measures the binder quantity being sprayed and displays the rate of spread being achieved. All spraying parameters and quantities are recorded in the computer memory for downloading to a memory stick, and are also provided on a printout of the spraying operation.A hand lance with 4,000mm hose is fitted for hand spraying.A rearview cameras system is fitted with colour monitor in the cab.
