Description: This hot bitumen sprayer consists of a cylindrical Tank mounted on a double axle chassis suitable For fast towing by 4×4 , pickup truck or tractor.
Capacity: 1,350 litres (300 gallons).
Tank: Cylindrical steel shell insulated with wirebacked Dense rockwool with external aluminium cladding. Manway fitted on tank top.
Heating: l.p.gas. Through internal heating flue.
Drive: diesel engine (3.5kw) with belt drive to pump. electric start. Hydraulic drive also available.
Pumping: Positive displacement gear pump.
Spraying: Manual spray lance with swirl of slot jet and 4.0m . Long hose.
Gauges: Temperature gauge on the tank. Pressure gauge on the spraying line.
Controls: Binder spray control by gate valve on spraylance.
Undercarriage: Robust chassis frame mounted on a double axle bogie with 3,000 kg carrying capacity running gear with suspension. Full braking system with run-on brakes fitted. Safety signs and flashing beacon fitted complies with full regulations.
General: Binder tank capacity 1,000 litres to 4,000 litres available.
